Nurses Week 2020

2020 has really been a challenging year for everybody. Nobody anticipated COVID 19 showing up and flipping our world upside down. We have all been impacted by this pandemic at some level and certainly some more than others.

Yesterday, I posted about how proud I was of a local family who changed our perspective on what we do at Refined Real Estate and what it means to give back. This is a perfect time for us to step up and do what we can for those who need it most.

I am fortunate enough to have nurses in my family and they help us with the day to day bruises, coughs, pain and sickness. They also work their tails off providing the greatest care to those who need it most. Their knowledge, expertise, empathy, comfort and care are matched by nobody else and sometimes we take that for granted. I know I have.

This week is Nurses week, and we all need to take the time to thank those hardworking people NOW more than ever. COVID has stressed our health care system and impacts all levels of care. I would like to share a special thank you to all those fighting this virus in the room - putting yourself in harms way to improve somebody else's chances. I am so proud of you.
